Selena Quintanilla-Pérez may not be that known in this new generation, but she is definitely remembered by the past ones. Selena was a popular and rising star of Tex-Mex music, also famous for her tragic death when she was only 23 years old. The murder took place when she met Yolanda Saldivar, the former president of her fan club, in a hotel, where she shot Selena in the back, because she knew she would be fired by her family for taking some money. On the next few hours, a SWAT team captured her, but the sense of loss was overwhelming for everyone: not only for her family, but also for thousands of her fans on USA, Canada and Latin America.
Taking this calamity aside, we are glad to announce that some photographs were release for fans to view back in time some of her private and precious moments when she was still alive.
She looks like she was a close friend of Vicente Fernández, a famous Mexican singer. They both look really happy! Can you imagine what an amazing duet would that have been?
She even introduced an award with the claimed and famous singer Ricky Martin!
Later on, she met the musician and actor Marco Antonio Solís a.k.a. El Buki, founder of the famous Mexican group Los Bukis.
Selena cared a lot about her fans, and in this photo she’s trying to calm down one who got really excited! Such a sweetheart.
Nevertheless, her core strength came first thanks to her family, and we show you this lovely picture of Selena and her dear mother. We always have our mommy to lend us her shoulder!
However, her parents weren’t her only support, even though she was young, she was already married. This is one of the pictures taken on their wedding day, they sure do look really in love!
I insist, you cannot deny this was pure and real love! The way they look at each other… Goals!
In this one you can feel your heart wrinkle, it’s a note from Selena to her dearly beloved husband. They sure were the sweetest couple around.
Finally, this one was her last picture ever, taken the night before she parted this world. We still miss you, Selena!
